FarmVille Expansions are Here!
Finally, the feature FarmVille farmers everywhere have been waiting for has been released: farm expansions! After more than a month of near constant begging and pleading from players, the 18×18 and 20×20 expansions were rolled out today along with a ton of other new features and decorations on a new “cash or coins” basis
Zynga posted the announcement on the FarmVille Fan Page with a tongue-in-cheek poke at the enormous demand for this release:
Howdy, y’all. We’ve been busy over here in FarmVille. Lot’s of new stuff to try out: Pink Tractors, Carrots, BBQ’s… oh and a little thing we like to call FARM EXPANSION!!! Y’all wouldn’t happen to be interested in that now, would ya?
Oh yeah baby – we’d be interested!
The new expansions extend the previous max 16×16 farm size to 18×18 or 20×20. (As always, you need to buy the 16 before you can purchase the 20.) Unlike previous expansions, the new releases can be bought for either cash or coins. In addition to being a revenue generator for Zynga, the FarmCash option means players who do not want to have to add friends to expand their farm can choose to expand using cash instead.
Farm Expansion Facts:
- 18×18: 324 squares (68 additional squares compared to 16×16 farm.)
- Cost: $50,000 and X neighbours or $x0,000 with zero neighbor requirement.
- 20×20: 400 squares (76 additional squares compared to 18×18 farm.)

Also included in this release:
- New crops: Carrots
- New decoration: BBQ,
- New feature: Fuel for tractors

i need a bigger farm please. i am running out of space to do anything. Bring on the 22×22 and 24×24 expansions so i can start spending more money. Thank you.
